We offer a broad range of classes to ensure each dancer finds the right fit for their talents and passion.
Beginning Ballet—ages 3 to 7
Children develop rhythm, coordination, and flexibility by doing simple barre work and floor exercises, and by learning basic ballet terminology. No previous dance experience is required.
Beginning Ballet—ages 8 to 12 and 13-16
Children and teens do simple barre work and floor exercises, and learn basic ballet terms. Throughout the course, they progress to simple ballet combinations. No previous dance experience is required.
Beginning Ballet—ages 16 to adult
Teens and adults practice formal ballet technique, learn extensive ballet terms, begin classes with barre work and floor exercises, and practice simple ballet combinations. No previous dance experience is required.
Beginning Tap—all ages
Dancers begin class with a warm-up and center work, exploring the use of rhythm and percussive movement in basic tap technique. No previous dance experience is required.
Intermediate Tap—all ages
Dancers build on rhythm and percussive movement concepts explored in Beginning Tap. Classes also include barre and center work. Some previous dance experience is required.
Liturgical dance—all ages
Dancers begin classes with warm-up, floor exercises, and center work. Dancers learn combinations to develop strength and flexibility, and have the opportunity to creatively express themselves in worship. No previous dance experience is required.
Jazz—all ages
Dancers do warm-up exercises, center work, and across-the-floor movements and combinations. No previous dance experience is required.
Modern—ages 14 to adult
This class is based on movement that is more "grounded" in nature. Experience the release of weight into and out of the floor while shifting off vertical positions. Mobility of the back, employing a three dimensional usage of the spine, are key elements in this dance form.
Lyrical—ages 14 to adult
This class is based on movement that is very heavy ballet based. This class emphasizes musicality and expression through dance. This form of dance will strengthen the dancer and help with their dance and performance skills. Must have at least 3 years of ballet experience to attend. * Teacher recommendation only
